Saxwave is a style that has become popular in the last several years with adding a saxophone to what is otherwise often a digital only formula. The Midnight in particular made an effort to combine the instrument into many of their popular tracks and other artists (normally on a single track basis) have done the same. A few albums and mixtapes have focused on this to make it a tiny trend and a flashback to what was also popular in the 80’s in Pop and New Wave of the time.
